At Luminus, our strategy is electrification. We are committed to transitioning toward electric solutions—why? Because electricity can be produced locally and in a CO₂-neutral way. Moreover, electric devices, such as electric vehicles, are significantly more energy-efficient. However, electrification must go hand in hand with renewable energy. This shift requires us to adapt our consumption habits, using energy when renewable sources are available. That’s where monitoring and smart control solutions play a crucial role.

Luminus is one of Belgium’s leading energy companies and a subsidiary of the Group. It produces electricity from renewable sources like wind and hydropower, while also operating gas and nuclear power assets. Serving over 2 million customers, Luminus plays a key role in the country’s transition to sustainable energy.
