Meet the management team

Bert Lutje Berenbroek

Chief Executive Officer

Bert has a strong background with more than 25 years of experience in sales and building global account management teams that drive innovation for international corporations in Europe, the US, and Asia. He has a BA and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Twente University in the Netherlands.

Dr. Dimitrios Doukas

Chief Operating Officer & Country Manager GR

Dimitrios is NET2GRID's Chief Operating Officer and the Country Manager in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a PhD in Power Systems, Power Electronics and Control from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh. Dimitrios has more than 10 years of academic teaching and R&D experience.

Dr. Christos Athanasiadis

Director of Product

Christos is a product leader and AI researcher with deep expertise in smart meter data analytics and distributed energy resources. He holds a PhD in smart meter data analytics, focused on residential energy flexibility and grid-aware applications. At NET2GRID, he leads the development of EnergyAI® capabilities that expand visibility into residential energy use and grid impacts, delivering scalable, utility-grade solutions across the AMI ecosystem.

Ab Groot

Director of Customer Success

Ab has over 20 years of experience in senior project management and business operations roles within the energy and technology industry. He has worked for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, with assignments in the Netherlands, France and Germany. Ab holds an Engineering MSc in Agronomy and Crop Sciences from Wageningen University & Research.

Duc Tran

Director of Finance

Duc has more than 11 years of experience in various roles in Finance including FP&A, Controller, and Auditor (KPMG and EY). Most recently, he filled senior roles at a major international corporation in Europe in the Energy sector. He holds an MBA from TIAS Business School in The Netherlands.

Michail Theodoridis

Director of Operations

Michail has more than 10 years of experience working in various IT positions like auditor, consultant, and project manager. He has worked with some of the biggest companies across the globe. He holds an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and is a certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.

Christos Charisiadis

Director of Engineering

Christos boasts extensive experience in software engineering and cloud infrastructure, developed through roles at NET2GRID and other leading technology companies. He specialized in cloud services, engineering, and application development to meet the needs of international clients. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Informatics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology Systems from the International Hellenic University.

Angeliki Sidirokastriti

Legal & Risk Counsel

Angeliki has over nine years of experience providing legal counsel, both freelance and as part of corporate legal teams. She specializes in data protection, intellectual property, and administrative law, among others. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, focusing on the Taxation of the Digital Economy. She holds a Bachelor of Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and two master's degrees: one in Transnational Commercial Law, Mediation, Arbitration, and Energy Law from the International Hellenic University, and another one in Public Law from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Angeliki is a qualified lawyer, and a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association in Greece.

Gerasimos Chatzaras

Product Manager

Gerasimos has over ten years of professional experience in technology and product management. Throughout his career, he has been involved in every stage of the product life cycle, from initial concept and R&D to development, product design and final delivery. With a background as a Data Analytics Software Engineer and Oracle Retail Consultant for international clients and Product Owner, he brings valuable expertise in driving product strategy, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination. Gerasimos holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is certified in AWS Cloud practices and Scrum Product Owner methodologies.
