Free Electrons 2020: NET2GRID was selected within the Top 15 bootcamp finalists.

Zeist, 27th of March 2020. NET2GRID has successfully completed the Free Electrons 2020 bootcamp round.

Free Electrons is one of the most prestigious energy start-up competitions globally and finalists have been carefully selected by leading energy suppliers, including; Innogy, TEPCO, American Electric Power, CLP Hong Kong, Innogy, SP Group, Origin, ESB, EDP and AUSNet.

During the bootcamp phase of the Free Electrons 2020 competition the top 36 finalists showcased their solutions and teams at a fast paced pitch event and participated in intense one-on-one virtual meetings with utilities. We believe that our cutting-edge technology and cost-effective solutions, combined with our enthusiastic team of experts, place us uniquely in the market and have helped us secure a place at the top 15 of the bootcamp.

At a busy and productive week, NET2GRID has had individual meetings with 8 of the 10 participating utilities, while already having an active collaboration / discussions with the other 2 utilities.

“I’d like to thank all the utilities that supported us with their vote and trust. The real win is to see NET2GRID's energy transition vision being shared and supported by the most established and innovative utilities globally. We are now ready to start working with each of the utilities to develop valuable and long-lasting solutions for their digital transformation journey. I also want to give a special mention to the Free Electrons 2020 organisers for keeping the competition at the highest standards, despite the challenging times.”
