Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Your role

  • Translating product specifications, product feature descriptions, and product release notes into concrete product marketing content that our internal Marketing Communications team can finalize.

  • Defining and improving our product content to boost the success of the product understanding and adoption by our sales teams and prospects/clients, analyzing NET2GRID’s strategic and competitive position, and delivering products that are recognized as best in the industry.

  • Working with local and global solution product owners & development colleagues, and commercial teams to analyze market needs and develop with NET2GRID regions the Customer Engagement, Customer Intelligence, and Home Energy Management services of the future.

  • Working closely with the marketing communications/design team for the subsequent publications, feedback on the campaigns, and content (website pages, more technical blog pieces, etc). Besides these publications, you will help deploy the go-to-market strategy along with the Product, Sales teams, Customer Success, and Market Analyst.

We give you a lot of space to take initiative. You’ll be working on a daily basis with the Sales, MarCom, and Product team members and have regular exposure to leadership members of the company.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you help maximize the efficiency of a constantly evolving product in an environment where creative solutions are the norm. You will report to the Director of Product.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, B2B product marketing, B2B marketing communication, innovation management

  • Relevant professional experience in the area of SaaS products for electric mobility / home energy management / smart home / telecom / consumer electronics / IT Services

  • Ability to create product documentation and sales collateral with high level specifications

  • Validate product use-cases and product value

  • Sales channel marketing experience

  • Support sales team with client-facing business cases

  • Self-starter, with ‘can-do’ results-oriented attitude and drive to deliver growth with / through the regional sales businesses and customer success team

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills

  • Great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills at operational levels

  • Ability to keep the overview, but also have an eye for detail in commercial and technical topics

  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Experience working collaboratively with global sales, product owners, design, operations, and customer research teams

  • Critical thinking/analytical experience

  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences

Minimal qualifications:

  • Experience of +5 years in B2B Product Marketing

  • Experience in a SaaS technology company that delivers B2B Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products

  • Experience in go-to-marketing of several B2B services, platform/ecosystem products, or SaaS products

  • Proven capabilities in (product) marketing, like new proposition creation, commercial white papers or solution brief documentation writing for external stakeholders / educational materials

  • Proven to define sales collateral being used in B2B sales including sales training

  • Willing to work hybrid from Zeist office & home in NL as a prerequisite. Full remote working is not possible for this job

  • Already should have a NL work permit and working experience for a company in NL

Nice to have

Experience in project delivery in an international setting is a plus
