Your role
A Technical Support Engineer actively participates in the day-to-day service reliability processes to ensure our product and quality SLAs are met. You will be monitoring and tracking live products' health and status while providing support on the technical issues that are identified by the Customer Success or internal Software Engineering Teams (e.g., code defects, customer issues, etc.) You can manage yourself around business processes and functional requirements and identify gaps, deficiencies, and pain points. You ideally have a combination of technical and business backgrounds. You are service-minded and have good communication skills. You love working in an autonomous team.
Perform a first-level investigation (e.g root cause analysis), and manage/coordinate the resolution of any technical issues that may arise on time. Additionally, resolving such issues in specific cases will be part of the job description when they become familiar with the codebase and the services.
Introduce new metrics and alerts and enhance the existing ones to solidify the Cloud Services Observability.
Monitoring the PaaS and SaaS live products of NET2GRID.
Be the connection link on the collaboration between the external facing Customer Success team and the internal Software Engineering Teams.
Contribute ideas and suggestions on automation, technology, and processes to improve cross-team collaboration.
Who you are
Good knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., PHP, Python, Java, Go) and principles of Object Oriented Programming
Hands-on software development experience
A university degree in Electrical Engineering or Informatics (or similar)
Working experience is appreciated, but talented young academics are welcome

Fluency in English
Having fulfilled or are exempt from any obligations imposed by the laws on military service for male candidates

Experience in Postman or other API testing tools
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems
Ιssue trackers (such as Youtrack or JIRA)
Code Review Tools (such as Crucible or Phabricator)
Familiarity with Linux-based systems
Knowledge of Relational Databases (MSSQL, MySQL), as well as NoSQL (MongoDB, CouchDB)
